We represented one of the largest investors in the commercial real estate market in Central and Eastern Europe in an arbitration proceeding pending before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris, related to the withdrawal from a development project worth EUR 0.5 billion. The dispute concerned, inter alia, design defects of the shopping center, issues of antitrust law, debt financing, as well as the method of construction of contractual penalties and the right to withdraw from the contract under Polish law.
